drdrew.com Interview with Christian

On paper, BBMak looks like your typical boy band—but don’t be fooled. These guys write their own music, play their own instruments, produce their own songs, and most important of all, they don’t do any synchronized dancing. Says ‘Mak’s Christian Burns, “When you hear BBMak, what you’re hearing is actually our personalities, not record company ideas. It’s actually us that comes out in the melodies, the lyrics and the production.” On the strength of hit single “Back Here,” the trio’s Hollywood Records debut, Sooner or Later is currently making big noise at radio, while the band tours the country in support. How are they handling their success? “It’s all happening so fast,” says Burns. “We really don’t have time to think about it. You just have to get on with it.” In between getting it on, Burns, a former altar boy, set aside Five Minutes for drDrew.com.
